Manual Adjustment
This treatment involves applying pressure, typically to the spinal column, in order to mainly address joint pain. At Corunna Chiropractic & Massage, chiropractic is performed on a chiropractic table that can be adjusted to attain maximum results from manual adjustment. Manual adjustments can make a “popping” sound, which is the release of nitrogen gas that has built up in the joint.
Activator® Adjustment
The Activator Method Chiropractic Technique® is the most popular method of chiropractic adjustment using an instrument. It is used in approximately 70% of all chiropractic offices today. Like traditional manual adjustment, the goal of the Activator Method is to restore spinal balance. This method is effective, safe, and gentle. The Activator is a hand-held instrument that delivers a comfortable, fast, and controlled thrust. This method delivers an accurate and precise adjustment.
